Miami Heat's Gerald Green was one of the biggest addition to the team last summer and he's been a valuable contributor off the bench for the Heat. Although Green hasn't been always consistent, he still averages 11.1 points per game while shooting 40.5% from the floor and 34.1% from the long range. His numbers have decreased recently as he's averaged 7.8 points over the last five games while shooting only 31.8% from the field and 25.9% from the three-point territory. Despite it, Green is confident that he can win the 3-point shooting challenge in February.
This competition will be part of the All-Star weekend which will take place in Toronto, Canada this upcoming February. Although Green has never participated in this competition, he is no stranger to the All-Star weekend competitions as he participated in the Slam Dunk contest twice, winning it one time.
Whoever gets chosen to participate the 3-point shootout, there is no doubt that the competition will be intense as there are many great shooters in the NBA today. Of course, the first name that comes to mind is the Golden State Warriors point guard and the reigning MVP, Stephen Curry. Green is confident and believes he can win it, whether Curry is in it or someone else. Do you think that the Heat's swingman can win the competition?
