Dwyane Wade is not only a basketball superstar, but also a successful business and enterpreneur. In one of the recent interview that he had with Bloomberg, the Miami Heat shooting guard said that he plans have an ownership of an NBA team sometime in the future.

In the interview, Wade talked mostly about things which are not related to his basketball career, but when asked about his future plans, he said that he wants to own a team.

At this point, if I’m not owning it, I don’t want to be a part of it. I’ve made it very clear that when it comes to the game of basketball, one day, don’t know when that day is, I would love to have that ownership for sure.

Dwyane Wade has had much success on the basketball court as well as off the court. Owning an NBA team would be a big step for the 3-time NBA champion, but considering that he is a successful business and that he's been part of the basketball world his whole life, there is no doubt that Wade would be successful in it as well.

Since he started playing professional basketball, Wade has played only for one team, Miami Heat. He is undoubtedly the best player in the franchise history and he has been loyal to the team from the very start and through ups and downs. Could we ever see Wade take part in Miami Heat after his retirement as a team owner? Not unlikely. Miami is Wade's city and the Heat is Wade's team, the future could bring many great things for the future hall of famer and one of them could be owning the team he spent his whole career playing for.
