Miami Heat finished their 7-game home stand with the victory over the New York Knicks and they will hit the road for their next two games. First of those games is against the Detroit Pistons, who are surprisingly good this season. However, the Heat will face the difficulties in their game against the Pistons, as they might play without three players, two of which are starters and major contributors.
Andre Drummond, who is undoubtedly the best center in the East, might not get the opportunity to play against the second-best center in the conference, Hassan Whiteside. Amar'e Stoudemire has been dealing with injuries for a while now and he might miss the game tonight, due to illness. Speaking of Luol Deng, he was questionable for the last game too, yet he played in it despite the injury.
Miami will most likely rest Deng so he is ready for the second game of the road trip against the Knicks. Heat are currently at 9-4 record after seven consecutive games in Miami and this two-game road trip will show how good they are on the road as they have played only three away games so far.
