After losing the first two games of the preseason, Miami Heat have bounced back with the win over the San Antonio Spurs last night. Dwyane Wade led the charge with 16 points while Gerald Green and Tyler Johnson were major contributors off the bench.

Both teams rested a couple of players but we still had the opportunity to watch some big-name players such as Wade, Tim Duncan, LaMarcus Aldridge and Chris Bosh. The Spurs led 84-71 at the end of the third period, but then the Heat turned the tables, took the lead and won the game. This game was similar to the second preseason game against the Orlando Magic in which Miami trailed in the fourth and made a big comeback. However, this time Miami won the game, unlike against the Magic.

The best player on the Spurs was the veteran Tim Duncan who dropped 14 points on the Heat without a single miss. The Virgin Island native made all 7 of his shots and grabbed 6 rebounds in the losing effort, while the newest addition to the team LaMarcus Aldridge was the team's leading scorer with 17 points. The 2014 Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard added 14 points while the Spurs also had a good game from the bench player Manu Ginobili who had 10 points.

Miami was led by Dwyane Wade who spent 21 and a half minutes on the floor and accounted for 16 of team's 97 points. Tyler Johnson had 14 points off the bench and Gerald Green had another impressive game as he dropped the team-high 17 points.

Both team were alarming bad from beyond the arc, with the Spurs making 20% (4-for-20) and Heat making 20.8% (5-for-24) of their long range shots. Heat stayed strong in the fourth quarter and regained their composure, outscoring their opponents 26 to 10.

Next game for Miami is tonight against the Orlando Magic. Dwyane Wade, who scored 9 points and 6 assists in the first game against the Magic, will not play in this game.
