Luol Deng Injured, Likely to Miss Game 6

Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

First it was Hassan Whiteside and now it's Luol Deng. The Miami Heat lost two starters in the series against the Toronto Raptors and taking Chris Bosh into account, they may play only with two regular starters in game 6, Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic.

Deng left game 5 against the Raptors and never returned. The Heat went on to lose the game and go down 2-3 in the series, with the next game to be played in Miami. Deng will have MRI tomorrow and hey may not get doctor clearance to play in the next game.

Whiteside most likely will not be available for the game either, even though he is listed as day-to-day. If the Heat advance to the conference finals, he may return, but he probably will not play against the Raptors this season anymore.

The Heat are 2-3 in the series and have to win the next game to avoid elimination. They have been one of the unluckiest teams this season when it comes to injuries, but they will have to adjust to the current conditions and give their best to force game 7.
