Hassan Whiteside Questionable for Game 4

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside is a game-time decision for game 4 of the Heat-Hornets series. Miami Heat have a 2-1 lead in the series and the next game will be played in Charlotte, where the Hornets will try to even the series before it shifts back to Miami. Whiteside has been dealing with a bruised right thigh and he expected to feel better today, but he is still not feeling good and ready for the game.

Whiteside has been the Heat's best player in the playoffs and one of the best players in the postseason so far. The center averaged 17 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks in the first three games of the series, in what is his first playoff series ever. Beside impressive averages, Whiteside is also shooting 80% from the floor and he managed to put those numbers up while playing only 30 minutes per game.

On the other side, the Charlotte Hornets will play without the forward Nicolas Batum, who will most likely miss rest of the series. Beside Whiteside, Miami will play without Chris Bosh and Tyler Johnson, who may return to the floor in a game or two.
