Injuries have once again visited the Miami Heat and much like the last year, they are starting to slowly destroy team's progress. Josh McRoberts has barely seen action this season and Tyler Johnson will most likely need a shoulder injury. Speaking of shoulders, Dwyane Wade has dealt with those issues lately as well and the team's center Hassan Whiteside was bothered by his knee. Today, it was announced that the guard Goran Dragic will miss the remainder of Heat's road trip and will be sent to Miami for MRI due to calf strain.

Heat will play against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Dragic and McRoberts have already been ruled out, while Whiteside will be a game-time decision. Clippers are on a 9-game win streak, which is currently tied for the best win streak in the season. They will not have power forward Blake Griffin for the game, but their playmaker Chris Paul has played incredibly well lately, leading them to nine straight wins.

Dragic has averaged 12.3 points and 5 assists per game for Miami so far in the season and he started playing very well recently, averaging 17 points over the last 3 games. He will miss at least the next 3 games for the Heat, however, he may miss a couple of weeks as well if the injury is more serious. Heat currently have 22-16 record and are in the sixth spot in the East. After the Clippers game, they will travel to Colorado to face off the Denver Nuggets and then they will conclude the road trip against the Thunder in Oklahoma.
